Still Trump. He's doing a good impression of St George in March at the moment. Long way to go.

BBC much more conservative in it's calling of results than some other outlets

3pm update. Trump pulling away. 179 to Harris, 214 to Trump. Harris needs Nathan Cleary to step in at this point otherwise her grandfinal is all but over and she'll likely end up like Souths, Parra and Brisbane before her.

Reading up about the "red mist" and "blue wave". Republicans tend to vote on the day of elections and in smaller counties so they usually pull ahead early and then once the democrat vote comes in, mail-in ballots and generally in larger cities, the counts end up being closer than expected.

Their electoral system does my head in though. Looking at most states they're pretty split between red and blue but one side will take all the votes from that state. Our system is much better and easier to follow, even if I fill out 127 votes below the line.

4pm update. Kamala appears to be pulling back into the race, but it's looking more like John Farnham than LL Cool J as far as comebacks go.

Trump 230, Harris 204. Wisconsin (10), Michigan (15) Pennsylvania (19) all leaning Orange and should see the man with the new hole in his hear over the line.

Yep and votes delivered by out of state cars after polls close, never doubt the will to win of left politics.
