Not really... he's doing what he was always going to do. The enjoyment in the next 4 years will be just watching when he loses his "momentum" (or "marbles") and crumbles.

The silver lining for "us guys" is that the fall out from Trump's crash or burn approach is that these four years could well be the last time Republicans see power in the US for... maybe even decades.

The actual silver lining is that people may actually start to question everything politicians are saying on both sides not just listen to the garbage they spew out.

Do you have a problem that lots of high ranking bureaucrats in health positions in US get very large commissions from pharma? They dont even have to specifically disclose exactly what they are. .... no you dont, we've been there before.

Do i think RFK Jr (more affectionately known as, the antivax guy) should get money as part of prosecuting people who do bad shit. No. I dont think he should while he has an official appointment. ... interestingly, no one cared when he was helping prosecute environmental issues in the past.

Overall i think it is a good thing someone will be in charge of actually looking into things. Govt isnt meant to be the shills for big business. Which is exactly where the US (and everywhere else) has been heading.

Why dont you post the bit where he says he cant individually make things happen - cos it needs ti go through congress. All the xhicken littles are running this, omg he alone will make the world implode campaign, whicg isnt true. But hey, all the chicken little politucians have $millions of reasons to say that.

There’s a lot of that issue-avoidance stuff going around in the world.

The political messages are about making people feel something, some kind of emotion, using untruthful assumptions.

My fave is the use of the statistic to provide some kind of factual basis. I use them myself to make the odd point.

No detail from the extremists at either end of the spectrum.

I was looking at US illegal immigrants v unemployment.

I found tha(presuming all these illegal immigrants are working if they expel them all, they will have about 6 or 7 million job vacancies they need to fill.

@Twizzle touched on it last week or so.

As for crime, I’d be guessing but I’d say more US citizens committ crimes than illegal immigrants. Through scale, you are never going to get 100% law abiding people in a society.

I'm not sure, as national economies are subject to a whole lot of factors outside of the control of a government during its term.

Australia's economy is stronger now than when Albo was elected. We'll see how much voters focus on that.
