That presser was a shocker. Zelensky is absolutely not a flea. Why do you say that?
He is the strongest, most inspirational leader I have seen for decades. Since Gorbachev, who absolutely brought peace to Europe.
Why should warnings about joining NATO deter him? He wanted security for his country. A country that he wanted to turn into a true democracy, a bit like Gorbachev back in the early 90's. NATO was going to offer him and Ukraine that.
Isn't world peace what we all want?
And, what money did he take? Please tell.
It was only Putin who was threatened by this, hence why he is heading west for his grab to reclaim the Russian (USSR) Empire. Why do you think Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Finland are all securing their borders currently? Russia will not stop if they succeed in Ukraine. It just cannot be allowed to happen and nor can any compromise on this.

anyhow, Ukraine gave up all their nuclear weapons under the Budapest agreement in the 90's for a security guarantee from Russia. Putin broke in by invading Crimea in 2014.....

The war has nothing to do with a land grab or NATO, Putin just needs an enemy to fight, to remain in power....just like all wantable dictators (cough Trump), they need to create a threat or crisis...

They actually worked out a deal to stop the war in April '22. In Turkey. But Boris Johnson went and told Zelensky to not do it. So they backed out.

Zelensky does it cos the dodgy merkins in his country wont be happy if he doesnt. He will leave ukraine when they eventually make a deal cos there are people there that wont accept it.

Go and read western media up to about 2018. Every f**ker was concerned about the rise of neo-nazis and incredible corruption in ukraine.

All the money spent on killing people could have been used on education, welfare, food, energy, genuine improvements in peoples lives….

But that’s hardly a priority when you can have a stranger pull a flag from your cold dead hand.

And per usual, civilians who don’t want to die are summarily killed without a seat at this macabre table of death.
