My problem is I only have street parking so if we go EV the value of my property is going to nose dive big time
Not having a garage/car port with a plug is the main hinderance to owning an EV. If you can't charge at home them it will be massive pain to own one

I have no issue with advancing as a species and technology always improves. So im happy to go green. But there are far better ways then a solar panel and EV. To me they are band aids from the original problem. And of course they are being pushed
cause there is money to be made from them.
Is there any money to be made from pushing the agenda that climate change is a "scam"?

Design new housing estates with light rails and first class public transport.Make it cheaper to travel and give incentives.Get cars off the road.
When I was younger car pooling seemed common. Now I rarely do you see it. Encourage it.

Start building houses that are more energy efficient. Plants lots of trees for shade.

Ban products that don't last from entering country. To much garbage is being made and thrown out cause it last less then 12mths. In my trade there is so much cheap shit that last 2yrs max.

I can't be f**ked thinking anymore about this.
agree with most of that - except the things that you mention are government/whole society things
If the government isn't going with you to build walkable suburbs with quality public transport - there is not much that an individual can do - so buying and EV/solar panels is where it is at.
