The problem, they aren't policies. They are statements. Some of his policies are great. None of you lefty merkins will admit it though.
He controls both houses, so why doesn't he get to work and put those statements into law. Then we can all judge his policies and he can prove he is correct (or wrong).
On his statements:
- Security fraud one is incorrect, there is plenty written about it, something to do with coding when there is no DOB
- border, definitely great policy to secure it. Biden f**ked up. But was making progress second half of term. Plenty of stats around it. Also there is an humane and cruel way of doing it. But it's a good policy
- no tax policy. Ok, give some details around it. How is this paid for, especially when his other policy is balance the budget. Details required. Stupid populist idea in my opinion. But he controls both houses, so do it
- remove toxins from environment is an awesome policy. Let's see some details. And don't forget his appointments and other policies are against this. Why doesn't he do it? Do an EO today declaring any business releasing toxins will be face huge fines. Then direct his DOJ to increase prosecutions of organisations not complying with environmental law. See how, if Trump was serious he could act today
- healthy children, another awesome idea. Let's see how he is going to do it. Start acting
- tax deductible interest on American made cars. Decent idea, so do it. He controls both houses.
- Doge, more efficient government. Great idea. But there is a right and wrong way to do it. And government is not like a profit business. It's more complex. Get it done but not with one person doing it with no checks or balances
- balance the budget. Good idea but how?
I will happily admit trump has good ideas. And there was some there.
So let's bookmark this and give him until mid term elections and see how many he implements
