Arizona is 97% counted. Foxed called Arizona first , CNN hasn’t, so no conspiracy there.

The simple answer is it's past 90% counted, and what's left of the count offers no path for Trump to win, the numbers don't stack up.

If you click on the "counties" tab there you'll see the count for each, the total count is an estimate, but you can see there are two counties with potentially around 10% left to count, there simply isn't enough outstanding votes, that should Trump win them all to make up the difference. On top of which, the county with the significantly larger number of voters ( 28k ) is leaning 67% to Biden, where as the smaller county ( 7k ) leans 68% Trump. So Trump's likely to win less than half of the remainder at any rate.

The ink is barely dry on the voting papers. With all due respect I think it's a bit too early to draw conclusions.

The information that some punters accept or dismiss during elections is alway up for debate as we fumble through the ashes and is always fascinating. I recall my MIL saying that she voted liberal ScoMo last election for the first time. When my son asked why she said because Shorten was going to tax pensioners. My son reminded her that she doesn't pay tax and will never because she doesn't earn any money on what little cash she has. Then the penny dropped that she was talking about franking credits for retirees who have circa $2m in shares. Blank looks all 'round.

Of the states that are yet to be called the numbers suggest Trump will get North Carolina and Alaska, while Biden will take Arizona and Georgia. That would mean an Electoral College result of 306-232.

Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016 with the exact same 306-232 result, which he referred to at the time as a “landslide”.
