I sense change is in the air.

I have noticed a lot more positive promotion this year from a lot of local establishments in the Hills area about Australia day and getting behind it.

The past 5-6 years everyone has been too scared to be seen to be "celebrating it".

Most people don't care. To busy trying to survive. I assume people with less responsibility or more privileged financially have more time to put thought into this topic.
If want to move it then move it. I personally don't care. No tangible difference to my life.

I think most are in that boat, then there's a small percentage of folk who get riled up about it every year either way.

I'd rather they just changed it as it's just a distraction from important stuff like those merkins that are trying to steal Christmas every year, and them EV's that were tryin' to steal the weekend, or maybe those merkins who aren't selling Anzac cookies right.
