As I said previously most people don't care and whatever they vote would be a decision they've put very little actual thought into.

I don't know that you can say "most" with any real confidence, plenty of people obviously did care, regardless of how much thought they put into it.

Plenty of people would put more thought into wether they'd want to eat a jam donut or a Nutella then this stuff. Why? It doesn't effect them so they may pretend to care but most don't.

That may well be true, even folk with strong opinions often didn't seem to have a clue.

If I had no kids I probably wouldn’t have cared, because I’d have zero stake in the country’s future.

My original comment was that your choice to not vote yes because you're not Indigenous shows a lack of empathy in the first place - or shows "how lack of empathy works".
