I think you have to be corrupt and have felons in your family to make it in American politics, never ceases to amaze me the corruption in that country.
There is more to it because he plans to revoke a person's birthright.I'm no expert on the yanks mate but from what I see on the socials, some of the illegals have been here for 20-30 years or more and their kids are American citizens who will do the work that the Americans wont, like laborers, semi skilled and tradies work and important duties like fruit and veg harvesting..
Some of these kids will be deported to countries where they have never been and don't know anyone except their parents. He is yet to proceed with this so I guess we'll see but this was an election promise.

President Trump is expected to kick-start the process to revoke birthright citizenship after years of proposing the constitutional change as a way to reduce undocumented immigration.
I'm sure the MSM will show the same concern at what Joe has now done ..... or not

Nothing better to do than release some convicted criminals.
The very first guy on the list - Steward Rhodes - was sentenced only in 2023. He was found guilty of violent assault and seditious conspiracy. He was given 18 years. What are they all convicted of? .... and how long have they served so far?
I'm not saying they all are innocent - but I believe alot of people got worse than they should have because it was necessary to make the whole incident bigger than it was for other purposes.

"You, sir, present an ongoing threat and peril to this country ... and to the very fabric of our democracy," said U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta.
For the first time in a case related to the Jan. 6 attack, Judge Mehta found Rhodes' conduct amounted to terrorism, and factored that into his calculations under the advisory sentencing guidelines.
During the trial, the Justice Department presented the jury with thousands of messages from Rhodes and other Oath Keepers before, during and after the events of Jan. 6, including Rhodes' comments that "we aren't getting through this without a civil war" and "the final defense is us and our rifles."
