You don't like freedom of speech mate?

She's an activist, she's got plenty of history, you don't want what she brings, you don't invite her.
Free speech? What was she talking about in her speech at this event? Did she give a speech? All I know is she turned up to an event hosted by the leader of her country in a f**king T-shirt (a T-shirt FFS!) emblazoned with the the word f**k on it in full view of those attending as well as the media covering it.

Put the sentiment aside for a moment and just try and show a modicum of class for everyone else in attendance...

Grace Tame is this the same entitled brat that gave Scomo the cold shoulder a few years back with the sour looking resting bitch face.

I think it's time she grew up personally

Surely Albo and his advisors could have seen her walk in and went there is no way she can wear this shirt and be photograph with Albo at an official Australia day event.

I think we all agree with the sentiment f**k Murdoch.

But for crying out loud how did Albo and his team think this is actually right what we need right now with an election coming up shortly.

Exactly. I mean we can't even use the word f**k on a footy forum without it being deleted/edited.

I think we can all agree f**k Rupes, but time and place ffs!!

If Albo and his band of dopes thought this would win over the public i think they have got it wrong once again.

I'm old school. I try not to swear in public and especially around women or kids
( unless at the footy) I'd personally never wear any sort of shirt with the words f**k on it. It's if poor taste of ask me.

I don't disagree, it is in poor taste.

But I also don't think decorum is the be all and end all of human endeavour, so a t-shirt worn in protest at an opportune moment isn't worth getting all excited about.

The T-shirt is the speech mate. Call it freedom of political expression if you want to dance around with semantics. Do you think what she was saying was unclear?

Well that's kind of the point, no point protesting in your f**king lounge room in your PJ's, won't get too much engagement there.

Put the sentiment aside for a moment and just try and show a modicum of class for everyone else in attendance...

I doubt too many folks there gave as much of a f**k as you seem to, though I'm certain there's been a fair whack of faux outrage since.

Like I said, it's not like she hasn't plenty of form in this space, and I'm pretty certain the dept of PM would be well aware of that, and would have at the least half expected some kind of stunt. If they didn't want it, don't invite it.

Yeah f**k off, she's done more to help people than likely all of us here combined.

And f**k Scotty. She stood up to a f**kwit who thought he'd be able to bully her as easily as he always done, and it bit him on the arse

What positives to activists actually bring to the table other then stir up trouble and cause division.

Is there any positivity to what they actually bring

Mate, you know activism has a very long history of bringing positive change right?

Near every single f**king right or privilege you now enjoy and probably never think about but take for granted is the result of past activism.

Well I certainly wouldn't be going all Helen Lovejoy over it.

Though I do think an Australian promoting Make America Great Again is a bit silly, and I'd be likely to comment on it in that vein
How about a Dutton shirt saying vote for Potato head???

I just think it's lame, trying to be edgy but it comes off as pretentious.

Again, that'd just be silly for mine.

Well you're entitled to your opinion just as much as I'm entitled to disagree.

Sure it's a stunt, but the fact is that it's opportunities like these that get national coverage, and if you're going to advocate for shit that's what you want.

Anyways it seems to me every merkin here so far has agreed with the message, but doesn't like the way it's been delivered because "decorum and or manners".

I say f**k that shit.
