Honest question, what policies?

They've got the nuke policy, and the tax-deductible lunch for Tradies policy.

But have they offered up any other policy with any flesh on it yet beyond culture wars nonesense?

They want to slow down immigration and fix the housing crisis.

Before anyone has a go at me, I’m first generation, our office is lke United Nations with a couple of nice gay people chilling out as well.

And everyone is actually there on merit. We don’t have any diversity policies.

And when I say merit, I mean across a range of things. Not just academic marks.

up to 20k tax deduction PA and no FBT for staff entertainment expenses excluding alcohol and strippers for small businesses Under 10 million turnover.

So as a self employed person, you'll be able to claim your lunches ect, some golf, maybe even a golf club membership against your earnings.

So, great for Tradies as other taxpayers will get the privilege of subsidizing their schnitty at the arsehole As an economic reform though, reinstating a lurk of the long lunch on the taxpayer that was f**ked off in the eighties as it was abused to the shithouse by the top end of town, not so much.

I vote DUTTON.

So not just tradies but every small business yeah?

Also that's hilarious you think tradies go for a pub lunch and eat a schnitty. That died 20yrs ago. We make far to much money nowdays for a schnitty at the pub. Plus we used to just tack it on the customers invoice anyhows. Also know as Sundries.

At the moment I’m leaning towards Albo in federal election.

I know that might upset a few friends and right wingers here.

It’s bad v bad but Dutton is way out of his depth.

Plus he’s a pretty ugly and used to be police.

If he’s replaced, I’d think about the LNP as some of their policies are ok.

I see weve got together with China and we’ve got the seafood thing happening.

That’s a pretty good deal and helps tens of thousands of Australians prosper.

Dutton will close it all down.
What electorate are you in?

I'm working with a heap of immigrants at one job. Nice humans and enjoy a beer with them .Trying to communicate in a working environment however is difficult and wastes my time. They lie about their skills and that's dangerous. It can be very frustrating. They get stroppy and to much attitude when make them clean up and carry my tools.

If the government thinks this is the answer to fix the trade shortage their idiots

So your vote is swayed by a person's appearance and your dislike of the police.

Albanese has never worked anywhere but in the Labor party. A true, solid gold party hack. And we wonder why this country is falling apart.
Ok, I’ll add another unmeritorious attribute, he’s a ‘ken Queenslander.

And judging by the Mam affair, and what these incompetent muppets charged him with …Qld Police are the joke of the world law enforcement.

Im sure the Mexican

And his record shows he’s a huge supporter of co-payment Medicare. It starts with $5 a visit and ends in $250 a visit.

Us middle class are suffering as it is.

All the high prices seems to be due to Covid screwing with supply. Governments have pumped money into the economy to help people but reduced supply and more cash, places pressure on cost of goods.

I hope no one here had to cash out any of the super.

so you accept that the LU owners think there is a time and place for the F word

but can't accept that people have their own opinions that there may also be a time and place for the F word
The people who are outraged and making the most noise are the ones who were preaching for the repeal of S18c Racial Discrimination Act, sighting the right to offend and that society was sick of political correctness ‘gone mad’. After the Andrew Bolt case, the Institute of Public Affairs, Senator Corey Bernardi etc all argued for the right to offend, and likewise, a person to have the right to be offended.

The irony is that the people who sought to rid us of political correctness, seem to be outraged by a t-shirt.

If I may step in here and clarify that Grace Tame is not an advocate for DV. She was groomed and raped at 15 by a 58 year old teacher.

As you were.

In that case, beyond a reasonable doubt and an appeal process, I’d like to teach her teacher about capital punishment.

What’s that old Joke…

I have two bullets left and I have to choose between shooting Epstein, Himmler and Graces Groomer teacher.

Answer:

I shoot Graces groomer first and then I shoot the f**ktard groomer again.

The Australian of the Year who was an advocate for DV was Rosie Battie (sp). She was the lady whose 12yo son was stabbed to death at cricket training by her ex in front of the team.

Someone once told me the family court told her not to give him contact. That was a mean thing to say I guess. It’s not her fault.

We need to get the LU boss to declare a national anti dv week on LU.

Twizzle doesn’t really like me, so someone else can suggest it.

Like I'd give a f**k, it's a t-shirt - my god the horror of it all!

So like any "decent" member of society, you know it's all good to swear like a sailor, but not in front of Albo?

It's far classier to judge a persons character by what T-shirt they wear, rather than the good they have done and dedicated their life to.
I'll swear in the company of those I converse with in that manner and who I know will not be offended by it. But I would not walk in to someone's house having been invited, Albo's or otherwise, with a T-shirt with f**k and Merkin and Shit in large block letters and I wouldn't start dropping those words in regular conversation in that same house in the company of hosts and others I didn't know. Sounds like you have no issue with it. It shows a lack of awareness, respect and class. There's even a term for people like that. One of the mods around here uses it as their handle....
