That was one of Wolffs points. It’s not like it’s a transfer of wealth from the rich to the middle or lower class, it’s a substitution of one group or individuals for another. Maybe not completely, but some of them.

That’s why it’s surprising that a lot of the left support the democrat establishment.
The distribution of wealth and resources was just as unequal under them.

And people march around decrying the end of wokey rights, while millions live in poverty in the US. And let’s not talk about their health system.

So he argues that until the discussion should be about structural change, instead we have distractions and entertainment.
