I believe that the US mainstream media has been controlled by US govt agencies for years. They do all their bidding ..... theres no laptop, intelligence people told us so. Ukraine is winning the war, oh hang on leaked internal docs say otherwise. Vvirus came from a pangolin, raccon dog, meh anything but a lab, oh hang on it might be a lab after all ... it goes on and on. The media regurgitate the scripts they are given. They all quote the same phrases they are instructed to.

The Western world isn't as powerfull as it thinks. The East is exploding. The transfer of power and who calls the rules will change within 20yrs.

Their middle class is increasing rapidly whilst most western countries is shrinking.
China went from 3.1% in 2000 to over 50% in 2018.
India's is rising.

America's basicaly a duck in the water. We are just watching an empire crumble which is natural. I reckon Trump knows it and his plan long term will be to make America self sufficient. That's when they'll say f**k the world,wars etc.

China is in financial stress....it's in serious trouble...while its population growth is in decline and a major concern for its economic future (in addition to its current financial/economic issues)...

while Russia can't even win a war, against Ukraine (who has less then a quarter of Russia's population)...who has no navy or airforce....Russia can't even get within striking distance of the capital.....and all with limitations on how Ukraine can use certain long range weapons

finally the US is the biggest economy (and increasing against its nearest rival China) in the world it aren't declining in that area....unless Trump does some stupid shit (cough cough tariff's)....
