Wish I had got tickets for magic round now!

Agree both useless I suspect Albo will get back in for another term.

Though if he continues on the same way he has for the past 3 years at the next election Labor will be decimated.
I am hoping he pulls his fingers out and actually stops wasting money/dividing the country and actually has a plan for the future. (That isn't horse shit)

I saw a Trumpets of Patriots ad last night which promised the abolition of HECS debt.

This morning Dutton announced that he will repeal any Labor initiative of the 20% wipe off of student debt.

Does Palmer think that students are dumb enough to not know that he wont win a seat gives all preferences to Dutton ?

Very dirty politics.

I do not understand this. With our voting system preferences are not chosen by your #1 choice, they are chosen by the voter. Sure each party/candidate hands out their how to vote cards which a lot of people may follow but you don't have to follow this.

Anyway I read yesterday that ToP are putting any returning candidate at the bottom of their how to vote cards regardless of political party or independent

They (One Nation and Trumpet) seem to be re-printing their preferences almost daily and are now inconsistent across seats.

Of course Labor is consistent, preferencing the Greens as 2 on the how to vote cards. So nice to have an anti semite party who want to eliminate Israel, remove negative bearing, no change to immigration numbers etc., as likely needed to form govt.

Then Albo lies yet again and says we won’t deal with the Greens, yeah right

The real problem in this election is the failure of the LNP campaign and their no lies policy, countering the Labor machine with the “anything to win” campaign, which is working . Guess you get what you vote for, 3 more years of Jim Chalmers, Plibasek and Albo , the country is going to need a lot of help.

Again, what do voting preferences on a how to vote card have to do with "doing a deal" to form a majority government?

The liberals aligned with the greens and voted against reducing immigration via overseas student numbers which has been shown to be where a large number of our "illegal" immigrants are from. Students overstaying their student visa.

The liberals don't have a "no lie policy" they're going in yet again with a straight up no policy campaign based on vibes and feelings rather than facts.

Yeah I read the ToP thing on an article about PHON putting the liberals as #2 on a majority on their how to vote cards.

Maybe I'm a bit more dialled in to politics than most of the country but when I looked at who I'm going to vote in the NSW senate, the Legalise Cannabis party, they had the greens as their #2, there's no chance I'm putting them as #2 so it doesn't matter who they "preferenced" as that is just a suggestion.

A two-state solution (rather than eliminate Israel), eliminating negative gearing (in the midst of a housing affordability crisis) and no change to immigration numbers actually all sound like sensible policies to me....

Yep, you got it in one there. It's been a policy detail free zone, even flip-flopping on their slogans re WFH, what they're cutting or not - a complete shambles such that Dutton has probably already drafted his resignation speech 9 days in advance.
3 more years of Jim Chalmers, Plibasek and Albo
Sounds good to me - and better than any alternative proposed.

You'll just have to accept this time that your mob was just an embarrassment in this campaign, and don't go anywhere near being good enough to run this country for the next 3 years.
Dutton and the Libs have been an absolute shambles.
Thank goodness they are way behind in the polls. They deserve it.
