Ah, obviously a key memory for you. One of my key memories of Keating is the Redfern speech, but each to their own I guess.
He was the reason I moved to the dark side. None of the crap the Labor party have served up since has made me question my decision. Labor have had nothing since Whitlam and Hawke.

Fair enough. I'm more of a Whitlam man than a Hawke/Keating fan in all honesty. But Hawke and Keating were still better leaders than anything we've had since - or on offer now. I don't rate Johnny Howard, apart from the enforced gun law reform he was just a tory merkin too.
