Well they are not official, but a bit of weight there to infer that Australia is not entirely a US satellite.

But otherwise, we are well integrated into the US militarily, socially and economically.

I don't deny who I vote for - just don't think what Dan Andrews does with himself now is a national issue that a prime minister (of either party) would be expected to give a running commentary on.

I suspect tomorrow's papers will be talking about an entirely different non-issue, as this one's storm in a teacup seems over.
