Agreed. Always "self-scout" as well.
I had trouble for years with the fact I can't believe in global warming because I think it could well be a manipulation but at the same time I am a massive naturalist (loving animals, trees etc).
After much meditation I realized a simple solution is you can reject global warming but also go 100% in on the policy changes and the like but also go a step further and demand things like 1 child policy which is a nice little attack on the lefties who love climate change protests.
The above is magnificent self-scouting.

Maybe we need a device that helps track ones carbon footprint. Travel overseas, electricity use, etc....

On global warming it could be a scam. It may even be accidental scam. But if we have ways to have a cleaner environment im not sure why we wouldn't be exploring that option and moving in that direction. I was driving through the m5 tunnel last week and the fumes where terrible.

Nikola Tesla was going to give free electricity to the world. He died poor and pretty sure his work was stolen by certain authorities. I'd need to read more on this

Well Rogan is a conservative / Trump fan from way back, so he'd do that against any Democrat.

But Rogan's hardly a comedian... why would you expect the comedy community to go against Newsom? Rather than continuing to go against Trump/Vance, like for example in the latest series of South Park?

Rogan is one of the most successful comedians in the world and politically he considers himself a middle/progressive.
He and a whole heap of comedians with big time podcasts (Theo Von etc) left California for Austin and Nashville due to what they consider Newsome's dictator like behavior during covid and after.

There is at least a dozen of them, that would be the well-known ones. Also don't forget that when the democrates were trying to find someone to blame but themselves for the fingering they got that they did decide it was Rogan's fault. So don't underestimate the influence.

Do you have some stand-up comedians that you like?
I don't especially like Joe's stand up (although I've seen some of his early stuff and it is fantastic) but he is up there with Arnie for mine as far as awesome self-made dudes go.
On the left I would say Bill Maher is a great talent although again I don't consider his stand up all that highly.

No, I just listened to a couple of clips of his radio show after I became aware of him, and found him to be an unfunny conservative commentator.

Every issue. Like most people, I make my choice of what side of things I'll be on. For me it's a pretty easy choice most times, because I am deeply aware of and readily accept my own values (or biases).

I understand his reach, just consider him a shock jock rather than a comedian. Like Kyle Sandilands, or more accurately (for the oldies) Stan Zemanek.

Agree, which is why Newsome is the hero most likely to save the world from Vance.
