Please don't put words in my mouth.
If you would rather vote for a change to the head of state of this country (I would) without knowing who and how is entitled to be in the future, and what powers they might hold (I wouldn't), then I can't help you.
Oh dear. Were you around for the Republic Referendum? It did exactly that...

Even though I tried at the time of the Voice referendum, if you and other merkins can't understand the words in the Constitution and a Referendum and how it all works - and still want "more details" put in our Constitution - then I can't help you.
Secondly, that you think it's so hilarious, eye watering so, is an indictment upon you. Not me.
So f**k off.
😂

merkins were laying into him on the ground, I don't give a f**k if he'd prior killed the f**king queen. The police actions were deplorable, and trying to excuse those actions because the guy may or may not be a shit merkin is a dogshit argument

I like the idea of cops getting physical when needed. Just like the 80s. Aslong as no bones are broken. But a few bruises is fine.

Simple question, laying into some merkins ribs whilst your mate helps hold the merkin down, dog act or not?

That doesn't mean that it will be all contained in "the next one".

Mate, to change the constitution by referendum, the constitution must be followed.

The reason all the changes that stipulate the how, and when were contained in the bill then, is because the constitution requires it.

If merkins are simply gonna ignore the constitution, why the f**k would you bother holding a referendum?

He wouldnt have copped half a dozen fists in the ribs and head if his choppers werent clamped on the guys finger.

I dont agree with all the police did that day but this little bitch dug his own grave.

Viral footage of the incident showed Turner pinned to the light rail tracks on George Street. One officer holds his arm behind his back while the other punches Turner, appearing to be trying to remove his finger from Turner’s mouth. The first officer then deals over a dozen blows to Turner’s ribs, shoulders and upper back as the second removes his finger.

The court heard Turner bit the officer with “extreme force” causing bleeding and bruising.

This isn't a fist fight. It's punishment being served for being a f**kwit. And I said Police should be allowed to rough people up if out of line. Not talking about individuals.

Except they weren't at that point in time, the cop goes on with it. Biting = dog act, beating a bloke on the ground = dog act

When I voted for the face eating leopard party, they were never supposed to eat my face.

All of that was contained in the enabling bill for the previous referendum, as it is the constitution that dictates such things, except of course the who, that couldn't be for obvious reasons.
When was the last one? 92?
The world has changed a lot since then.
If it's in the enabling bill next time then it won't be a problem.
If it's "we'll sort out the finer details later", then that's a problem.

The world has changed a lot since then.

The constitution hasn't, again let's say some nefarious WEF UN plot comes along to cede sovereignty to the elites, and all the cookers celebrate how they were right all along, would they.........

A: Run a referendum to change the constitution, meanwhile ignoring the conditions under which the constitution allows for said referendum, making their change unconstitutional and thereby rendering the whole exercise pointless. Or.

B: Team up with Dr Evil and pull their shit-f**kery regardless of what the constitution they're ignoring has to say about it?

I have no issue with what the cops did. The dickhead decided to bite on the cops hand and didn't let go. It looks like the cop on his back gave him 3-4 punches after he finally let go.

The cops should have just let him have another chance to bite them again I assume some of these soft socks will want..

Whilst biting is a bit dog (boom tish), it's likely that the skinny kid found himself in a wrestle with said cop's hand in close proximity. That's what usually happens in footy anyway. So in a chicken vs egg scenario, I'd say that the kid was on the ground with one or two coppers on top - first. So his choice of self defence was prolly poor and he should have tapped, but the whole story needs to be told.

I think we can all agree that if the whole scene was replayed, the cops would not have called for the immediate shut down of the protest in such a manner that caused tempers to be frayed in the first place. What were they thinking ?

Circle back to the Minns legislation, whoever decided that banning a bunch of people marching (no matter for or against immigration or for or against genocide) was a good idea, didn't think it through. Same with Temu Netanayu visiting.

That scene of the police running in a line towards peeps was far more concerning that some angry kid biting a finger.

Kettling they call it.

The scenes of that day have not been seen since the early days of Mardi Gras, when the march was a protest and the cops used violence against the LGBTQI+ community to make it go away. You would have thought that draconian shit like that was behind us. People have the right to have a say, whether you like what they are saying or not.
