I have no issue with what the cops did. The dickhead decided to bite on the cops hand and didn't let go. It looks like the cop on his back gave him 3-4 punches after he finally let go.

The cops should have just let him have another chance to bite them again I assume some of these soft socks will want..

Nah, what this soft cock wants is for the police to be better than the perps, and held to a higher standard.

Pretty uncontroversial I woulda thought, but then I hadn't accounted for the amount of love for licking jack-boots

Ohhhh police me harder daddy!

The amount of hatred of police out there by the young feral left is an issue we need to sort out. Young women in particular need to do national service. They are bludgers.

Irrelevant.

Fronting a court on an assault charge with the defense of I didn't break any ribs so it's not really assault your honour, is likely not the best strategy.

My original statement was in general about Police force beeing allowed to rough up penauts. I never mentioned the Harry Potter looking kid who bites.
And yes there is a difference. If those punches lead to his death I would imagine it was excessive force. If bones were broken I would day excessive force. If a few cuts/bruises id say you got what you deserve you little bitch

What if it was a girl? Everything else exactly the same, but it's a chick there.

Absolutely not at all.

Well we need to reduce population. We have to many and the planet can't handle it "Apparently". 5 billion they say is a healthy amount. In 2050 it's predicted it will rise to 10 billion. Add to that by then every country will be industrialised. So that add even more damage/chaos.Arent we trying to go green and save the planet.

The chart above shows what countries are contributing the most to the rapid population growth I am guessing?

Whilst biting is a bit dog (boom tish), it's likely that the skinny kid found himself in a wrestle with said cop's hand in close proximity. That's what usually happens in footy anyway. So in a chicken vs egg scenario, I'd say that the kid was on the ground with one or two coppers on top - first. So his choice of self defence was prolly poor and he should have tapped, but the whole story needs to be told.

I think we can all agree that if the whole scene was replayed, the cops would not have called for the immediate shut down of the protest in such a manner that caused tempers to be frayed in the first place. What were they thinking ?

Circle back to the Minns legislation, whoever decided that banning a bunch of people marching (no matter for or against immigration or for or against genocide) was a good idea, didn't think it through. Same with Temu Netanayu visiting.

That scene of the police running in a line towards peeps was far more concerning that some angry kid biting a finger.

Kettling they call it.

The scenes of that day have not been seen since the early days of Mardi Gras, when the march was a protest and the cops used violence against the LGBTQI+ community to make it go away. You would have thought that draconian shit like that was behind us. People have the right to have a say, whether you like what they are saying or not.

Well lets circle back to ... if they had of protested in Hyde Park, none of this would have happened.

But agree, Minns is a dick. Bringing in the same authoritarian stuff as the rest of the world. He gets too easy a ride.

Not seen since the old Madi Gra days .. bullshit. The police bashed the f**k out of people during covid. But you hated the people they bashed so you didnt give a shit.

Their original application was to march from Town Hall to Hyde Park, but that was rejected. The PARD directives were designed to reduce visibility in the organisers eyes. I guess protesting at a place to be seen is kinda the point.

The PARD orders in NSW removed the protections for peaceful protest in NSW immediately after the Bondi attack and were extended to include the Herzog visit. They were implemented by Minns only to appease a certain group and extended to avoid political embarrassment. The protest planned were always peaceful and offered no risk to the community.

You can try and draw a false equivalence to the Covid lockdown protests, but they will never be the same. The restriction on public gatherings were based on heath advice for the greater good of the community vs shielding the feelings of a very vocal few that don’t like hearing the word genocide.

BTW hate is your word and I never condone violence.

One thing a few schools are doing is offering year 10 kids to do a 1 day a week work experience and 1 day a week at Tafe for the full year.
If this was Albo's idea I give him credit. I think it's great. It means they complete 1st year of Tafe before start an apprenticeship, test what its like and also have about 2-3mths worth of experience and training before start.

They are also doing university subjects in year 12, some as part of their degree, or qualifications to start their degree like a bridging course

I dont know who is responsible for it but it's a great idea.

Grace Tame is fair game.
Grace Tame is fair game.
Apprantley Albo called Tame difficult yesterday and is copping heat for it lol.

Its the best comment Albo has said in his whole Prime Ministership.

Grace Tame is a disgrace to the country and quite frankly an attention seeker.

The fact her and her dimwit supporters have quickly jumped on the misogynist bandwagon is the usual pathetic nonsense you get from the left.
