That’s a weak argument because it relies on emotion instead of logic. Saying “there are always alternatives” doesn’t prove any actually exist or would work. And the “your kids in the meat grinder” line is just an appeal to emotion, not a rebuttal to the argument that sometimes war can be necessary.

War being horrific doesn’t automatically mean it’s avoidable or unnecessary.

In that very post I gave you an example of a workable alternative, did you not understand mate? But if we want to discuss weak arguments, all you've done is stated "war can be necessary", you've offered up no reasoning or logic to support that statement, f**king zip bro.

Singing ‘Give peace a chance’ whilst pulling on your cone won’t do shit, either.

Well that's real nice for you mate.

The International Atomic Energy Agency says Iran had become non-compliant (and as you said in the highlight and the IAEA agrees) accelerated its program and that the amount of material Iran has is unprecedented for any nation without weapons intent and could make 9 nuks promptly.

It is always Trumps fault to your type...like Gronk earlier trying to say its Trumps fault thousands of protesters got shot by the Iranian regime.

Source mate.

Yes, the term use to be: doing a Helen Lovejoy.

It's not an appeal to emotion, it's a very relevant statement upon how easy it is to be pro war when your position has no cost.

It questions that if it were you who was in their shoes, would you still think the same, I apologize profusely if considering such things from the comfort of your chair made you uncomfortable.

🙃 Not quite. The deaths of the protestors at the hands of the murderous government was all them.

What I said was, that the ramped up sanctions and then the additional tariffs against Iran's local trading partners made the local economy implode. That's what took people - market owners, stall holders to the streets. Remember now ?

Plenty of stuff is being slung around in here unsourced. Stop being selective.
Bloody eshay

He is claiming a quote from an agency, it should be sourced, this is very different from an opinion or a factoid that is general knowledge.

At any rate, I'm requesting a source, not ordering, is that unreasonable?

@85 Baby do you wear Ralph Lauren polo shirts?

An "eshay" is an Australian youth subculture, often associated with antisocial behavior, petty crime, and a distinct fashion style. Typically young, suburban males (or "lads"), they are recognized by wearing brands like Nike (specifically Air Max TNs)Adidas, and Ralph Lauren polo shirts, often wearing bumbags and sporting mullets
How can a bald merkin be a f**king Eshay @Gronk ???

Do better merkin ffs!!

It's like you want to argue

But just don't know how.
It’s pathetic to think you’ve got all the answers. You don’t. There are forces and realities at play here that neither of us knows anything about — only our own biases and speculation. What I’m really calling out isn’t your opinion, it’s the ignorance and the high horse you’re riding while pretending it’s certainty.

Do you ever talk footy? Or is this sub forum your safe place?
