You've gotta ask yourself though, why are they happy to move him on?

I have absolutely no knowledge of the situation but, from an outsider's perspective, I see a club who continually fail to live up to expectations.
A team that plays with no heart, minimal effort, taking shortcuts everywhere and seemingly with no accountability for poor performances.

And they want to get rid of one of their biggest names?
The guy who was signed as a "marquee" signing to build a club around.
The one guy who is capable of splitting a game wide open.

Looks a whole lot to me like Des trying to rid the club of the cancer it is so badly riddled with, and he's starting with the biggest and most obvious piece.

Throw in the fact he reneged on the Rooters a year ago, once he realised they're a club with high expectations of their players, and he looks like damaged goods to me.
I seriously doubt any coach with half a brain would go anywhere near him.

So yeah, a Flanno special.
