Yeah at the start of the year a lot of people were trialling that $15/week Telstra Live app where you can view games live on your phone. You could hook it up to your TV for the first couple of weeks and they sold a bunch of 6 month subscriptions. But then they disabled the HDMI output and had a lot of pissed off customers.

My missus just hooked up Foxtel Go on our iPad using her parents Foxtel account.

It's free and includes all the sports channels. This is a great day in my household, after being Foxless for 18 months.

Good point. He is effectively stealing from his in laws. I am surprised that ACA aren't circling yet.

Cheers mate. Apparently Foxtel have built something into the app which makes it hard to connect to the tv.

I have read a few websites that have a way around it though.

when there is a will there is a way, my mate is using my account for the sport, he is having the same issues, i think there is a hdmi connector that you can get for the ipad and iphone, that should work, i have connected my foxtel to a HD recorder so i can tape things from my hd box to a harddrive.

i should ask my mate if he has figured it out and what he is doing and i will let you know.

Or, for shorter distances, a diminished chord would do. And they're cheaper.
