i actually agree that she is terrible. I prefer a dopey Biden to her. But aside from that, she has also been tarred by his brush and is associated with his (unpopular) administration. If the Democrats want a chance, they need to go left field.

There's too much of the 'dynasty' about that. Way back in 2008, when her husband came from leftfield, I was rapt.

Here's one reason, if Hilary had won (and she was favourite, both for the party and the general election) and she'd served two terms as president (again, as expected) to 2017, then it would've made it 36 straight years with a Bush or Clinton as president or vice-president.

It's not the Philippines, or Indonesia, or Jordan, or Syria. The US is supposed to be an open democracy.
