Since 2006

Brian Smith - sacked
Jason Taylor - already signed with another club before he took over so does not count
Michae Hagan - sacked
Daniel Anderson - sacked
Stephen Kearney - sacked

They are a basket case of a club.

Brian Smith was not sacked. He was told that he would not be the coach beyond 2007. In 2006 he resigned. Michael Hagan also resigned due to illhealth. He was not sacked. We have only sacked 2 coaches. Similar to you guys. We will bounce back. You did, why can't we?

There is no way Anderson would walk in & give an assessment at parramatta in the negative about the current coach.
this sacking has been months in the making.

Slighty OT, but Speaking of Anderson, just saw Preston Campbell on the game plan. Geez it burns me up the way he pushed him (and others) out.

Is kearney being sacked confirmed or mere speculation? I can't find confirmation anywhere ATM. So given that fact all this talk of stick to para is equally premature. Everyone needs to get the nasal spray out me thinks. Personally I can't for the life of me see stick at the eels. Just my view but knowing people that know him and hearing the thoughts that he allegedly had when deciding to move to the shire I can't see that this time. But I know nussing.

They said it on the footy show, didnt catch anything else. Parra look like us 2 or 3 years ago.

They need to run a broom through the whole joint.

They have been sweeping that broom for the last couple of years Cools since they ousted Fitzgerald.

Maybe there is a common denominator...

Yep.

I don't think they have any property left to sell and prop up their bottom line for future financial periods.

The group CEO is closely aligned to Roy Spagnolo. The very CEO that has never worked in the club or rugby league industry.

investigation mob they use (Jude) at will is a close associate of Roy.

One of the former board members (chidiac) stood down from the board to fulfill an executive role - quite an executive salary to boot. The same board member that is highly regarded amongst members - the voting ones. The same board member that had no experience in any part of the executive role he stepped down to fill.

Yes BBB, I think if I was an eels fan I would be voting for a new broom.

Just trying to remember who it was posting that Kearney should take over the Sharks a couple of years ago.

Who knows it may have worked out well at the Sharks.

Ever thought that the front office of the Eels has been shytehouse for a very long time and a real handicap to any coach coming in to coach Parramatta?

But this coming from the person who held a candle to Ricky Stuart as coach of Cronulla. We know how that ended up.

I was one of the minority on here who backed Flanagan when results weren't going his way. I knew it would take time to steer the team in the right direction with all the dud signings from the Stuart era. Thank f**k the board stuck by him and an imbecile like you wasn't in charge.

Have some interesting comments from many on here in regards to Flanagan in threads I'm saving for a rainy day.

Some pearlers in those!

Lewis "apparently" reconsidering Parra.
Can't see it happening though, the club was in bad shape before Kearny got axed, now it's a shambles.
Why would anyone want to sign with them???
I feel sorry for Hindmarsh.

He said he didn't want to go to a Club that was in a rebuilding phase.

Parramatta are definately that.

But money can change the thought process and parra are offering big ones.

Parra will probably offer big bucks to Ricky Stuart as well and he might reconsider taking up the Canberra job.

FMD, 3 years for $2.1 m and they wonder why their club is a shambles.

Not to mention using a possible player signing as the leverage to sack a coach, which is 6 coaches in 8 years.

What's that saying about a fish rotting from the head first...

Quigs mate Hadley would be loving this. If I had time I'd tune into his show today - maybe quigsy could flick me the podcast.

He was on the footy show last night for the "5 in the bin" segment. After that, he took another 2 minutes to totally bag out the Eels, particularly the board.
