Anyone know if we had any representation from the club up at Raymond terrace over the weekend?

I would be surprised if we did as the club has NFI when it comes to scouting but there was one kid that caught my eye and it wasn't because he has a famous surname.

Thomas McGrady is the kid. He was playing under 17's for the all stars and has some of the best foot work I have ever seen in kid...and his line speed was just phenomenal. He is obviously built like a matchstick but that could be worked on.

Brad Cooke did mention he had similarities to GI with how he plays and he took the words out of my mouth. The kid is a freak and we should be having a sniff

I could've been the scout Snoop, 20 mins from my place.

I didn't know it was on until Sunday arvo at the pub, they had it playing on the TV beside the GF TV.

I said similar in another thread Snoop. Both the Koori and the Murri Carnivals is where we should have a scout. Maybe we do, I don't know. There is a lot of talent on show.

In the women's GF, I though Mahalia Murphy looked real good as a player. When she was running she reminded me of the Peach - effortless glide across the ground. Good looker too.

Yeah she was a natural mate. Very peach like with that angled sort of running.

Let's hope the club are onto it, in this day and age as well as the state of our club, I really do hope there were some eyes from the club. I just have a feeling they have clocked off for the year

I went to the Koori Carnival a couple of years ago in Bathurst. It was a bit hit-and-miss, predictably!
I saw a very talented female player - maybe the same girl - but pretty sure she was a 5/8th...
None of the guys really stood out, apart from one who was determined to knock someone's head off - and that was never going to be rewarded by anyone.
Albert Kelly apparently played, and was not a standout - I didn't see him...

We had a Mcgrady a couple of years ago. Is this his younger brother?

My son's A Grade team were represented but I don't think they got any signings. Was hoping for Dane Gagai or Tyrone Roberts :) jayden Clarke played last year but I don't know where we got him from. Maybe Endeavour.

Still think we could do worse than George Rose. His brothers went ok too and didn't they all look alike.

Some big units in the Women's GF!
