Adam reynolds ticks all of Fittlers boxes. Especially defense, which has apaprently ruled Maloney out.
he is also in form with his team coming 4th.
Of all the teams in the top 4 reynolds is the only available half, along with Sutton & Green at 5/8 available for NSW.(Fittler on record of wanting to see half a dozen good consistent games from selections)
Reynolds has the least missed tackles & rate of any of the halves in line for a call up. he is also kicking at a high rate both in general play & for goal.
The 5/8 will be a defender & a runner. That IMO leaves Moylan or Watson. or possibly Sutton.
IMO they wont pick Cleary with just 2 games under his belt. Maloney has been told he wont be picked.

Do actually watch any football? Watson is an outstanding talent in his 4th game from injury this year. He is going great. Shame he did not get to play with pearce at all this year.

If you will allow me to bend my knee before your greatness and offer this humble suggestion based on watching NO games of rugby league ever - Watson is a comparative ROOKIE and has shown flashes of brilliance, but is not ready for Origin!

I thought Cleary looked really good last week. By his own admission he was a bit gassed but thats to be expected.
Defended really well, and has beefed up a bit. Didnt look like someone who has missed the first half of the season at all.
Got a hell chin on him too! Like an old fashioned snow plough.
