OT OzTag World Cup

This year is the OzTag World Cup at Coffs Harbour on the 15th-18th October, im a current player and also part of the Greece Tag committee, we are looking for Greek heritage male and female players from 16-60+ years of age, we are attempting to run out as many teams as possible, age groups are 16s, 21s, Opens, Mixed Opens, 30's, 40s, 45s, 50's and 60's.
Trials are on Sunday 1st March at Gannons Park Peakhurst. (Times to be confirmed)
So if you know of anyone of Greek Heritage let them know and pass on the details.

Also for those that are of another Heritage and would be keen on playing for your Heritage Nation do a search on Facebook to find them, ie if you are of Italian heritage, or Maltese Heritage just search Italian Oztag, or Malta OzTag, to find out when they have trials etc.
There will be teams coming from overseas England, South Africa, Japan, New Zealand, Pacific Nations, have previously all attended.

Sounds great! I'll be there. Ive heard GreeceTag have built up recently from having one competitive team (45/50's) who won a silver medal at the Oceania Cup a couple of years ago in Auckland, to now fielding teams in a number of divisions. The committee must be doing a very fine job to build it up so quickly.

Come down and tell your friends and family members as well, always looking for players male, females 16 -60+ years old.
We are trying the best we can to build it up again, we are pretty competitive as well, also a great place to play in Auckland, extremely friendly and the best part, majority are Dragons fans in our squad...
Also for those that may be interested nothing better than playing against some ex NRL players, players that have played in these tournaments against us are Blacklock, Andrew Walker, Buettner, Myles, McGuiness Brothers, Widders, Riolo, Cliffy Lyons, Georgallis(with Us), Scott Fava (Wallaby) and others..
