Yep, he isnt the best centre to play outside of. Jamie Lyon is hands down the best centre to play outside of.

What I am saying that Jono Wright had a better season that Beau Ryan, which he did.

People are saying he only scored because he played outside of Morris, myth busted.

Personally, as a winger, I wouldn't want to be playing outside of Josh if I was only concerned about scoring tries and getting a paid, BUT, from a team perspective, he is a gem to have.

well ask the runner up of the Fantasy League comp last year, I'm sure he will disagree, & rightly so, that is not what they do. The person who is judged to have had the most effect on the try is given the TA.

Rubbish reef, and you know it. The actual play with the biggest effect on a try being scored might of happened 5 tackles earlier e.g. a 60 metre bust from inside you own quarter that gets the team into position to score or a 40/20.

You're such a shyte stirrer

Jono Wright is shite.

Did anyone actually watch the final series at all and last few games of the season?

He was shown up as rubbish.

He has Morris inside him. That alone is a ball magnet. Teams focus on Morris and as a result of that wright benefited. As reefy said the pass doesn't have to come purely from Morris. When teams rush in to shut Morris down Wright gets a cut out or kick in behind.

Might be a pointless discussion as he looks to be a centre this year.

I just can't see how he could be a centre. Not sure what flanno sees in him to consider him a centre. Did he come to the club on the proviso he was given a crack at centre?

Cardy he probably knew coming here would mean he would have the best chance out of any other NRL club to cement a spot in the centres due to our lack of candidates.

To answer your question regarding flanno, having kept pom there who knows what our coach considers a reasonable centre?

From the little I saw of wright at parra as a centre I liked him. He looks bigger now.

When he first played those couple of games he looked ok.

Scored tries last year but was average at best.

Bingo. & morris is better than Lyon. Both Morris's are Australian players. Lyon was shyte whenever he played rep football & could not step up. Both Morris's step upe each level they go to.
Morris is by far the best centre in the game. His brother is prob the best winger.

Leutele appears to be seen as a back up player. He showed some glimpses of talent last year.

I am not overly confident in Wright as an NRL level centre. He did a job for the Dogs last year as a finisher. In our side we need someone who can create opportunities as well as finish. He is decent under the high ball. He has size without looking overly strong and decent top speed without having blinding acceleration.

If he can hit holes he will get opportunities from running off Graham and Carney.

Flanno has been quoted numerous times saying we are in the hunt for a representative centre. Obviously wont be for this season, lets just hope he hasn't given up.

Not sure if he has been mentioned on here, but Malcolm Congoo (ex Raiders NYC) is another option for the wings. serious pace

Yeah, it's been raised. He's been signed for the NYC team. Turns 20 in April. Might not be seen as an option yet.
