I went to Parra Leagues on Sunday night to the see the best damn Rock band in Australia. THE SCREAMING JETS!

BLOODY AWESOME IT WAS!!!

The funniest thing about it all was the Parra Eels boys that were standing infront of me. Nathan Hindmarsh, Daniel Wagon, and Eric Growthe. These boys are clowns, drunken clowns actually!! I was thinking about giving it to them about Saurday night, but thought better of it!

Oh, and a message for Hindmarsh, get some bloody pants that cover your arse-crack!!!!

So did they actually play any new songs? Or was it the same set they've been flogging for 10 years?

NEW SONGS DON JUAN!!! NEWS SONGS!!!!

They are recording a new album this week, and have a DVD due out in July (so it'll be available sometime near November....).

They new stuff sounded pretty good too!!!

And Sully... no blokes apart from you wanna see his arse. And I honestly think that girls don't wanna see it either!!! I mean, it's bad enough on the footy field, but when he goes out in jeans that don't cover his arse, it's NOT GOOD!

I'd rather hear that than bloody "Sexed Up" buy Robbie Williams mate!!!!
The single most overplayed song on radio today.

You'll only ever hear "Better" on Triple M, so if you don't wanna hear it, don't listen!

I havent heard that one
Whenever I hear anything that sounds like Robbie Williams I switch off

The only song I dont mind is Let me entertain you because it reminds me of Shark Park with a big atmosphere on a Saturday night

I'm sick to death of that song 'Better'

I hope I never hear it again

Not half as sick as they are of playing it, I'm guessing! :D

I know what you mean though. They used to be my favourite band but I can't understand why radio stations think that the only song worth playing is Better.
What happened to the aforementioned Helping Hand? Shivers? October Grey? Think?

Anyways I've always preferred their album tracks to singles, which is why I stopped seeing them live. Their live show is just all the singles these days.

They actually played a lot of songs that weren't released as singles the other night. Was quite good.

Of course, Better, Shivers, Helping Hand, October Grey, Eve Of Destruction, etc all got a run....

It's been 2 years, so I don't mind going back to see those songs over again anyway!

I secretly like " better man" sssshhhhhh.
My friends and family don't know and probably wouldn't understand.
The guys in my band would take drastic action by sacking me or even worse.....yep , the drums.

No band is better live than the JETS.....hell no band is better!!!

I can't wait til they come up to Queensland.........2 years is far too long to be waiting to see these guys again.
Dave is an absolute legend.....

I know Better gets overkill on triple m......but I still love that song..however agree that they should give airplay to some of their other songs...not singles because they haven't done a bad song!!!!!!!!

ROCK ON JETS!!!!

but loathe?? :( thats harsh!!

You have to hear some of their non commercial songs......they have so much more than the singles you hear....

and if you haven't seen them live....you really haven't seen their full potential

For pure unadulterated Rock and Roll, the Jets are not the best live band in Oz.

That crown goes to the Hard Ons.

The Jets arent bad though.
