That is a photo of Steve Price.

If you could see his chin (or lack thereof), that would be evident.

A mutiny ??

If at the time of the alleged assault taking place, did the assaulter or the assaulter have any of the colour sky blue, or black or maybe some white in their clothing.... then obviously it is Cronullas fault.

Kick us out I say.

It will be very interesting to see how the NRL handle this.

Outcome: All players involve were only defending themselves and their coach after a cowardly and unprovoked attack by drunken fools wearing shirts bearing Cronulla Sharks logos. No action to be taken against any St. George Illawarra players or staff. Cronulla Sharks to be fined.

Have we got a named offender yet.

I had a bet with sports bet that it would be The Count that came unstuck first. He is the face of the League so he should of got pissed, wacked someone, or done something naughty. It's his job. He is the face.

Who is this upstart from the Stinking Stains that has ruined the script.

Throw him to the wolves.

The thread on the NRL forum raised an interesting question. How does this incident fit with the new Coward Punch laws regarding penalty if found guilty?

They introduced minimum sentences. Could Garvey be facing a stretch? Where are the hyenas?

The coward punch laws only apply when they cause a death.

He's lucky that the mandatory sentencing for certain offences hasn't kicked in yet.

Coward punch law is a joke. Brazzaville announced what the public wanted to hear but the actual legislation looks nothing like the bluff and bluster Beryl trotted out.

Like Inferno said, you're gonna have to kill a merkin to feel the brunt of those pis weak changes.

Death only? So they are not fair dinkum. You can scramble someones brain permanently and ruin all prospects of a normal existance but as long as you dont kill them its not a serious problem.

That's not quite right Gunna.

If someone did what you suggest they'd be charges with cause grievous bodily harm with intent. That carries a maximum penalty of 25 years with a standard non-parole of 7. It's a pretty serious offence.

The new 1 punch laws are f**king stupid because they are already covered under manslaughter laws which also carry 25 years as a maximum penalty. Not quite sure how a 1 punch manslaughter is seen as worse than a manslaughter committed with a knife or some sort of other weapon either.
