2024 NRL season opener double header
Home teams: Sea Eagles, Roosters
Away teams: Broncos, Rabbitohs
Where: Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas. Capacity: 65,000.

Cost: $2.9 billion (Aus $)
When: March 2 (March 3, Sunday afternoon in Australia).
Deal/plan: A five-year commitment for NRL premiership matches to be staged in the US until the end of 2028 - starting with a double header next year in Vegas.
Under the NRL's Vegas plan, four clubs will tour America every year for the next five years.
How it works: Round zero. The four teams will kick-start the competition and then return home. The rest of the round will be completed the following weekend when Manly/Roosters/Brisbane/South Sydney have the week off. Competition will resume as normal in round two.
