Wade Mckinnon copped 3 weeks last night (pending appeal) for spitting. Interestingly his barrister Geoff Bellew claimed that the spitting was a result of a saliva build-up because of a condition he has. He was just clearing his throat. :sarcasm:

I was on medication because of the sinus infection - I always get a saliva build-up. I always spit because of it,'' McKinnon said.

You might recall that Shane Dunley lobbed a golly at PJ back in 2005. Interestingly his barrister Geoff Bellew claimed that the spitting was a result of a saliva build-up because of a condition he has. He was just clearing his throat.

Bellew had earlier submitted a medical report from Manly doctor Paul Bloomfield claiming Dunley had reflux, a condition that causes an excess build-up of saliva in the throat.

Dunley gave evidence that he felt a "burning" sensation in his throat while tackling Marsh and felt the need to spit out what he believed was either a piece of food or an antacid tablet.

He was like that at parra, Nathan Hindmarsh said his nickname was tourette's.

he is only better at the warriors because the way they play suits his game more so than parra's and the great Burt was getting in his way
