Hopeless bunch of spastic midgets. We won one game all year and they didn't deserve that.

One swig each from the Sherry Flagon as they are about to leave the shed,
They're gutsy little buggers. They played this islander kid the other week. Name was Manu. think he just goes by the one name. Built like Gal - if he was 12 I'm rooting Miranda kerr.

Fugg - wish he was 12.

I coach soccer and know absolutely nothing about the game.
My warm up is boot the crap out of the ball and make them go get it.

What I cant understand is they warm up for ages play a half of football, sit down and listen to the coach for 10 minutes and then straight back out.
Canberra did exactly this a few weeks back and Tom Lehroy whatever pulled a hammy a few minutes into the second half.Didnt surprise me one bit.
Wouldnt you need to stretch before going back out?
It was a 2.00pm Sunday game and I only took notice as Fox showed them from the seats to the huddle back onto the field and there was no stretching to be seen.Normally theyd be off to an ad but not this time so you could see what happened.

Frenzy.

Just introduce the little blokes to the tried and trusted method Since.

One swig each from the Sherry Flagon as they are about to leave the shed, and make sure the hooker puts out his durry.

Crikey. We started doing that in U/16's. Coach swore on it. We musta been late starters back then.

My dad was a pretty famous cyclist in his day
He says they used to have stout and lemonade mixed together
in their water bottles during races.

Also reckons they used to get given handfuls of pills by national coaches .
They just took them without asking.
He just assumed they were vitamins ... Now he is not so sure .
Nobody questioned drugs in sport back then.

Not much can be done about that reefy. Warm ups on the other hand are in our control

Let's be serious though... Short or long warm up would the result of been different?

Time to look forward

No, I meant, you were critical of there not being a longer period in NZ. ie. the hit & run tactic of spending little time on the ground in NZ. it seems the tactic was a good one, don't you agree?
