I'm sure half of Wayne's words never make it out of his mouth, instead they get stuck on his tongue.

He has some good points every now and then, but usually makes himself sound stupid by jibbering them out.

I dont know if anyone else notices or cares but I was really pissed off most of that game with how crap the commentating is. The fact that 50% of the time was spent jibbering on about things and not actually calling the game really annoys me.

Pitty it wasnt live, because at least the radio calls the game 90% of the time. I understand that the radio has to call the game alot more as there is no visual aid, but jeez the commentry (Foxtel in particular) is like a bunch of dribblers who have been gagged all week are are let loose on T.V to talk over the game about useless banter, if I wanted that I would go down the pub and sit with all the "so called" experts telling stories about the good ol' days.

I think the quote was "He isn't the most talented winger in the nrl...and he is the slowest"...harsh!

On the subject of pearce and commentating...its amazing how much respect I lose for guys like him,Daley and in the past Brett Kenny (to pick on 3 guys) because of how dumb they sound when discussing the game. I forget their on field heroics...when Jnr walks past me in the stands every week I roll my eyes and groan...I thought Kenny was an awesome player...but from his commentating days and his public outbursts everytime a paper needs a quote about the eels (I feel one coming on this week btw)
it just makes me think of how moronic he sounds...same with Jnr Pearce and definetly with Daley...

Gazz is still the best they have . Always calls it straight. One of the best cheats in the game when he was a player, he is a scrum legend !

At least Pierce picked how stupid the decision was by Clarke on the *late* tackle by Bird on Joe Montana..... sorry Barrett!
