OT. What other sporting teams do you support?

Just found out Fizman supports Aston Villa in the EPL like myself and I already new RoboShark supports the LA Dodgers in the MLB like myself. Just curious at what other teams people here support other than the Sharks?

Doesn’t have to be just the leagues I have an interest in. For example if you follow the Ice Hockey put the team you follow in that.

For me I support the following teams;

EPL - Aston Villa

MLB - LA Dodgers

NFL - Miami Dolphins

NBA - Miami Heat

Went to the states for a few months when I was 14 and picked all the Boston teams.

2004 Red Sox World Series win is in my top 3 sporting moments.

Love the Patriots dynasty with Brady.
Not into NBA or Hockey as much but Celtics and Bruins if I’m watching.

I can watch lawn bowls, darts all 5 days of a test match and pretty much any sport in the world with only 1 exception soccer I just can’t for the life of me get into it, iv tried countless times absolute shit game, I’d rather watch chess.

NFL - Chargers. As the Chargers are now LA. I am not as enthused but they're still my team. they sure are annoying
EPL - Tottenham Hotspur. They sure are annoying. but they won Thursday. that was great.
Sherrin - Western Bulldogs. the 2016 grand final weekend was a bit much.

i dont care about Basketball. i find the Lebron vs Jordan discourse the worst thing on the internet.
make a tackle lads.

i dont care about Hockey.

I was a San Diego Chargers fan, so I want the Padres to do well.
ill take a peak in the playoffs if they are there. i like the idea and the aesthetic of baseball but there are too many games.
This is also how i support the dogs, ill watch finals. are they in them? no? carry on, yes? ill watch.

I have seen both my overseas teams lose games in now demolished stadiums.

AFL Swans
NFL Pats (pre Brady, King always mentioned them in his books and sounded like the Sharks i.e. never expected to win one). Lately Steelers as I loved a weekend I spent in Pittsburgh including a game.
MLB. No real favourites but enjoyed games at Philly and Tampa
NHL. Great game to go to live, Penguins. Podcast guy I like goes for them so that got me interested.
EPL. Man U

Arsenal in the EPL for me.
Pretty sure @sladden road is a Gunner too.

I haven't watched it for years though.
Last season I subscribed to one of the channels over here so I could get into it again.
I lasted about 2 months before I had the same realisation I have regularly with us - they aren't winning a f**king thing this year - so cancelled it.
Haven't been tempted back.

Ozzi, What’s the connection with Seattle?
Great question…. It was about year 3 or 4, Jannali East Primary School, a new girl came to class. Miranda something was her name, moved from the USA to Aus with her family, she was from Seattle. Weird but doesn’t take much to attach to a team when you’re 10

I genuinely cannot understand how rugby league fans can sit and watch football/soccer. Nothing ever happens, it’s so boring - and then there’s the theatrics and falling over at the slightest of contact. It’s unwatchable for me.
That being said, I’ll shout for whichever team are playing against Leeds Utd - just to piss off my mates who follow them. Growing up in Leeds, I find that Leeds Utd fans are generally entitled dickheads who think their team are one of the biggest in the land, despite the fact they’ve spent more than half of their existence (well over 100 years) not in the top flight of English football. Leeds Utd and their fans could easily be another entry to the ‘Petty Things’ thread.

'Kin Leeds, now there's 3 genuine teams to boil my piss again next season.
