I can see the Scottish flag there. It look's a little like Murrayfield to me.

It's a little bit bigger than you think. You've shown the photo of the smaller side of the stdium, evident in this picture here.

The place holds over 60 000.

Here's a better comparison to what could be done at Parra. White Hart Lane, London.

Capacity - about 36000

Thanks guys.

Oh it is much bigger then I thought. Yeah Suity, that would be a great stadium for Parra if it were to ever happen, but Australia being the way we are, I doubt that it will ever happen.

Twizzle how did you paste that photo in the way you did? It just wasn't working for me?

If we end up getting the World Cup in 2022, Parramatta Stadium will be upgraded. Geographically it makes sense to have a World class facility in the centre of greater Sydney.

the url you posted is the website, not the image location

right click on the image, copy image location

the url of the image location is http://www.mapsports.com.au/graphics/map-sports-home.jpg

Sorry Twizzle, I don't have that option when I right click on the image. I already looked for that. I am using IE8, so I don't know why I can't.

But cool thanks anyway Twiz. At least I now know that I just don't have that option for some reason.

Parra stadium was not included in the bids Avenger. Remember?

This is what we need at Parramatta Stadium - a Blue and Gold version of the Kop - the times I have been to Anfield, the atmosphere has been second to none, with the Kop belting out incredible songs and chants. Would love for Parra Stadium to not need the silly canned chanting they put on a loop to try and fire the crowd up.

Doubling the capacity of Parramatta stadium would make watching the game so much more enjoyable.

You could put your feet up on the vacant seat in front of you.
Sit your hot dog and chips on the vacant seat to your left.
And sit your beer on the vacant seat to your right!!!!

Agreed - but a 30,000 scaled-down version would be great - a covered, 12,000 seat, steep, single-tier stand at the end where all the 'more vocal' supporters can sit would be a great addition to Parramatta Stadium.

30,000 is about the limit for most suburban stadiums, though if there was a way you could have a ground that could convert to 40,000 (or 20,000 converting to 30,000) on short notice (eg: by having a smaller top tier that is normally closed off for smaller games), that would be great.

All hypothetical as we cannot even afford a new stand at the Brett Kenny end, let-alone a new Stadium!!!!
