The signing of Dylan Brown on a 10year deal is frankly ridiculous.

I think he is a good player, not great and certainly not elite so if the rumours are true it is a horrific business / football decision by the knights. This will not end well for them.

The Eels premiership window has closed and they are in a rebuild, the rebuild will be helped by having Dylan Brown off there books who is arguably overpaid on his current deal.

He also has the dodgie knee due to his injury last year. I think the NRL physio said its about a 40% chance he does a full ACL now within the next 18mths.

I’m on the Cole train. Really liked what I saw in Vegas. Hit hard, straightened the attack when needed but didn’t overplay his hand.

If Blaize turns out to be better than him then happy days!!

He is still 19, still a work in progress, body still growing so he has plenty of time.

He has to earn a spot in our top 17 so he may have to spend a bit of time in NSW Cup and put in performances that demand selection.

Cole is also in the plans it seems.

As @Kilkenny says, Blaize is quite young and we have shown we can be patient.

It will be a good problem to have if both are going well.

If one seriously stalls (and I am talking seriously stalls, not Blaize going the first two rounds of the comp without getting into the FG team) in their progression then we can always send him onto Parra

The NSW Cup performance was disappointing, on paper you would have put your house on us to win, but in the we were deservedly beaten. The two awful bombed tries from J McLean and Blaize didn’t help but in the end we just weren’t good enough and the players on the fringes of our top 17 just didn’t do there chances much good.

Blaize is a raw rookie. He will eventually find a way into the side. The talent is clearly there. Just need to fix a few things.
Given Parra's woes it might take a bit longer to get the Eels stink off him.
