The more stranger wonder is as to why he left.
Forget about "the dream" of playing NFL, I was told it was he didn't want to be involved with Flanno anymore, the same as Jack Bird.
Yet both of them have now been coached by the Flange again, and Bird was let go by the Flan Snr.
Flanno must've done some sweet talking on his venture to Townsville to sign Holmes, or maybe the absolute dollars were too convincing.

I'm about to go into a negative spiel about Flannos signings after Moons left but we all truly know that he was not the best manager of those affairs.
