They have morphed into Chris and Jarrod Anderson.
Completely blinded like the rest of the community from Flanno Snr teeth.
I can’t be assed dumping the quote but something like ‘everyone reckons he’s going alright’
He’s loosing it
His list of halfbacks coaching the top grade basically looks like this

Jeff Robson
Chad Townsend
Kyle Flanagan

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

He was the next big thing. I think people thought he was going to be a good kicker and game manager. He came with big raps from the people that watch lower grades, so I guess it guides your perception. He did look a bit slow moving to me. Like most players, probably potential in the right team and system.

He had Luke Metcalf next to him in the U20's. Metcalf was always "the one" so to speak.
Oh and Blake Brailey as well, maybe even WK, either way, Flanju didn't have to do much with the talent around him.
Bit harder now with no one else to take any burden off him.

I can remember on debut in firsts he just kinda shovelled the ball on, didn't really do anything. I thought "fair enough, he's a kid on debut", but that's pretty well still his game now. Just a very bland footballer.

Sliding doors moment for Kyle.
Angry Dad shows his contempt for the club and in spite tells everyone his star son won’t play for our mob and goes to the winners circle with the Roosters. Rest is history.
If Angry Dad didn’t fly off, there is the potenial star son is still here? Probally not, but if the current coach saw something, he’s the new Atkinson.

I think the real reason behind the Kyle discussion has been forgotten about.
It's not actually about Flanju, it's about the Flange himself and the way he so easily threw Illias under the bus, twice. Once with the open remark in the presser and then with the dropping.
The Flange didn't even factor in by treating Illias that way he was always going to come under major scrutiny when it came to Junior.
Flanno may have some footy smarts but when it comes to general personal behaviour he is very far behind the pack. Most of us Sharks fans know about this, I don't need to go into the many examples of his behaviour whilst at the club.
Dargons fans are finding out now.

I dont mind Ilias as a player and have a mate who is a Bunnies fan and a fan of Ilias.

He was glad that Ilias found a home and I told him I thought it was the worst place he could go.

Coming back from an injury like that after being made the scapegoat at Souffs last year was a big ask.

Told him that and the Flange Jnr was a very average player and would be exposed without Hunt there, and there would be no way that Flange would place any blame or pressure on Jnr meaning Ilias would be the scapegoat again.

Hard to get a read in Ilias.
At south's he played 2nd fiddle to Cody.
If Cody wanted it he got it.
What Cody wants he gets.
He got most of the ball and he got keaolamtangi [spelling??] most of the time on his side
Plus latrell also gets what he wants and when he wanted it he just took it.

so ilias was always very much the man left with not much to show what he's got and obviously became the scapegoat for a shit season.

Goes back to Reggie's and a great chance to show his goods.
When the 2nds coach said "break a leg son" running out for his first game he had no idea ilias could follow a game plan so accurately.
Year gone.

Probably worst team he could've gone to.
Once again...what the coach's son wants the coach's son gets.
Scapegoat again.

However this time he is lighting it up in Reggie's.
Undefeated since he dropped back i believe.
