A question not answered. Surely the better sides don't let Talakai just run through them like that. And once again Sharks quite sloppy in the back end. I thought if they had Tom Manly could have really given the Sharks a fright in the 2nd half.

Forget Tom; if they had of cleanly regathered and scored off the kick that hit the post they were down by 4 with the best part of 10 minutes left. At that stage they would have been favourites in my eyes.

Burton is a running 5/8th not a game manager.

The dogs management spent their money in the wrong places. That's my belief.

TBH dogs had (have) about 8 players from their 30 on the injured list. This was before covid hit.

I think he's struggling for confidence and form.

Turpin,Kelly, Niu, Carrigan all out. 3 of their spine.

Mahoneys form last season he was looking like he was putting it all together and one of the best young hookers in game.
This season he has gone back to previous years form. Missing a lot of tackles, no run game and not setting up tries or line breaks.
Without sounding bitter I question his ability. No doubt he is a good player but 700k good? A lot of money for a guy with no run game.
How much better is he then Bailey or Egan? He plays behind a very good forward pack.


Kikau is a weapon when on but his defense is average. Unsure how Kikau goes at the Dogs. Seems the type who may get lazy

Correct, From his time as under 20s coach (pretty bad) he should count himself lucky to be coach, especially over Ciraldo.

Not sure if you know this about him, but he smokes and is a heavy drinker. This will probably play into his fitness. Do you mean Brailey from the Sharks?
