Our best Chance to knock off the Dogs!

If we are going to beat the bulldogs this is one of our better chances with the likes of Mason, Price and Ryan out of their side with the possibility of us missing Prince. I think our forwards can get on top of their pack especially with them missing their two starting front rowers. It is up to our backs to hold their own against their backs. Who will replace Prince if he selected for Qld? Will the likes of Kerr or Branigan get their chance or will Benji shift to half and Fitzy or Wilson come into five eighth?

I would say it'll be Benji to half, Fitzy 5/8th and halatau to centre (if theres any justice it'll be dene - wouldn't be suprised if its wilson :( )

Another positive that Wests Tigers should use to motivate themselves is the psychological advtantage they have over the Bulldogs. In in the last 3 clashes at the Showground, Wests have come away winner's in their last 2 meetings. It will be a great clash.

If Benji and Fitzy are the halves we have NO chance.

I don't really disagree

but I think its the most likely - we don't have many options

Itll be interesting to see the Dogs pack. They have plenty of good youngsters that go well. They arent as good as the blokes out,but not too bad....

Maiava,Perry,Scott.
Feeney,Asotasi
Grimaldi.........thats not a bad pack, but who there reserves are I have no idea, maybe thats where we can get them, when these blokes come off.

There backline will be untouched,so our centres better have there tackles going against Harris,Tonga and co.........

We have a big chance but its no lay down misere.......

i wouldn't say we have no chance, they both combined to beat brisbane at suncorp didn't they, plus a few big scalps last year with withers and fitzy.

i would go for a fitzy/benji combo,at least you know fitzy won't have any big brain explosions.i wouldn't have 2 rookie halves for a bulldogs game.

very happy to be playing the dogs without o'meley, ryan, mason and price.got some workaholics there that will be hard to replace for the dogs.

with boof back to his best along with skando and a fitter payten, our forwards look right in this.

going to be a very interesting game, that's for sure.

The tigers can't afford to take the loss of our star forwards to litely. We have great depth especially up front. The likes of Maiva,Scott,Grimaldi,Asotasi,Feeney,Perry are all still greatplayers. I thought Scott and Feeney had great games last week in the dragons win and were witout Price and Omeley for atleast 20mins of the game and we still put on tries and had great defence. But the Dog's cant ride off the Tiger's either.

The only way I can see this game being broken is in the halves. Should be close and hopefully we can get away with the 2 points... :)

It will be a tight contest but we should be able to get them in the forwards .
Then watch for the little guy in the number 7 to spin some magic .

prince will be a huge loss-i think the dogs will still put a great side on the paddock.I would leave benji at 5/8th-the xtra space is good for that magic step.Maybe bring kerr up--he played well last sunday--but dont be suprised if a bolter is selected--branagian 5/8 marshall 1/2

That is something that always seems to get us unstuck. Taking you guys lightly!

and you can also add Shrek O'Meley to the list of missing fowards to Origin. So that makes O'meley, Price (Starting props), Ryan, Mason(starting second rowers) missing from our line.

The fowards that we have covering are Feeney and Asotasi in the second row, Hutch Maiava, Scott and Maybe Adrian Rainey up front,Grimaldi at Lock, and Reni Matuia (Sensational player) will probably relieve at hooker, second row and Lock.

I think these fowards will see it as a great opportunity and will deffinatly step up.

we will have to be on our game to win this one.
