Left out McGoldrick because his defence is not up to scratch, Vagana mind you is not much better. Bailey seems to score a few tries for us when playing centre, and we need a centre who can score tries, is also more solid than McGoldrick defensively.

A couple 'out of position' here but look at the strengthening of the backs defensively. It's been a weak point all season. Added to this Goldy will add starch to the size on the wing which I see as a must have. Goldys efforts have been improving game by game this year and I see him as the next 'big winger'.

Nutley to 2nd row will give our forward pack even more grunt. Imagine the eyes widening when they see 'Nuts' charging the line on the 3rd or 4th play. Beattie may be slowing up but as a Sharkie he still deserves his place where he belongs... on the front row and this in turn puts 'Nuts' back to his own weight divvy!!! More size more go forward.

The 'utilities' pick themselves and that includes the bench. I see this as one of our most potent weapons. Bird, Gallen, Bailey, Galloway, Lomu, Isemonger etc are basically all interchangeable to some degree.

Yes I have dropped Simmo and Merritt and over looked others but I see this on paper as a quality finals team. It's only my opinion.

Nuffs you think Saleh is going better than Simmons?

Have you seen Beattie play this year?

Dumas has been in great form and you left him out?

You'd have Isemonger on the bench and Bickerstaff in the run on side who is currently in Premier league?
Now DS whilst I have no problem with the questions, I think it is only fair to name your own team before questioning others, don't you?

sorry DS, didn't see your questions earlier

i think Saleh should be given a chance for Simmo. then see how it goes.

i have seen beattie this year. stevo last year was pretty soft i thought. never making the extra yards. beattie caught this disease too. the "quickplaytheball disease". once he learns what Stevo has been doing, he will get back to being a hard man

Dumas i think may benefit from playing another year in PL. then i think he'll be perfect to put into first grade and to stay there

Bickerstaff is my most underrated player at the club. maybe personal bias, since i dont really like Ice, that i put Bickerstaff in there but always solid whenever he plays there

I'd only make one change and that's to the defensive line where I'd leave Mr BK on the left and put Mr Aitken next to Mr Gallen. I take on board your point of having Mr Aitken at L3 next to Mr Dumas but it would leave the left with

Mr Saleh, rookie, rookie, rookie, Forwards, Mr BK, Mr Vagana, rookie

I'd just like a better spread of the rookies

Very valid point, and I would agree with assessment.
Not sure if the 'coach' would like himself ooooppss sorry BK on the left.
But it would work for me.

I just don't know where to play him Imasharkie. When I work out his position I might be able to slot him in. I can't pick him at 5/8th or lock though and I don't think he is big enough to play in the back row yet. I know he has talent bu t I don't know where it would be best used yet.

If we lose Sully as has been predicted you could slot Bird into no. 17, but again thats next year and anything could happen by then.

I guess he could be slotted in for Dumas at lock with Dumas to the bench and dropping Galloway for now.

Seems a bit harsh to be dropping Galloway he's a player on the up.What about dropping Ise for Birdy after all he doesn't play a good game every game and IMO Dumas is another on the up for us.What am I saying here McSharkie this is your team,I'll stay right out of it.

Your critisism is fairly positive mate and welcome, fill your boots.

I would keep Isemonger in the squad. He has improved remarkably over the last couple of months and is a big part of our future.

I personally would like the Iseman to be consistent week in and week out, then maybe I could walm to him. When he has a good game it's usually an awesome one, like his Brissy game, so if he could put in every game like most professional footy players I'd be really happy.
