yep bird was stunning. QLD had arguably the two best players in the world in thier halfs and bird shut them down to 1 try.

3 tries in 2 games is all qld could manage

perhaps they need a creative halfback
hahahaha

how many of them did thurston have a hand in?

I will bet my balls he out numbered Noddy.

geeze i would hope that 'the worlds best player' would out play what many of you nguys consider to be a poor halfback...

i wonder why thurston was so ineffective

maybe it was because the halves were heavily marked

Frenzy.

Straw clutcher.

Noddy doesn't do any better in club games when he's not heavily marked.

This new tactic of attacking Thurston to try and make Noddy look decent is not working. No one is falling for it.

surely comparing a player against the 'best player in the world' in the opposite number is legitimate?

i know why you arent keen to discuss it and i understand

thurston was asleep last night & got hammered further into his coma by Bird.
Kimmorley wasnt tackled alnight becasue he kept dropping the f*cken ball, passing it the wrong way or kicking it to the wrong side, the wrong place at teh wrong time with the wrong distance.
At anny rate, as uninvolved as Thirsty was, he was light years better than the IMMMPPPPPPOSSSSSTERRRRRRRR

How many Dally M votes has Thurston got in the past 2 years? How many try assists? How many line break assists? How many people rate him as the best in the game?

You're comparing thurston's poor performances to Noddy's standard effort, the game that Noddy puts in every week.

OF COURSE NODDY'S STANDARD EFFORT IS SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN THURSTONS SH!THOUSE GAMES!

You're making yourself look like a fool in mentioning noddy in the same sentence as Thurston.

Thurston produces 8 weeks out of ten what Noddy can only produce on his very very best days. Last time we saw anything of the sort was pre-Origin 2005. Even then he wasn't even close. No-one called him the best player in the game in 2005.

You're a joke Millers, and youre clutching at straws.

I'm keen to discuss how much better than Noddy Thurston is.

no you arent

you just wrote an essay on why their games shouldnt be compared except if it is favorable to thurston
