I can't see us losing to both the Dragons and the Cowboys and still making the 8 while Manly miss out, so I'm sure we will end up with one or two wins against the top 8. But really, having to play the Sharks, Storm, Broncos, Roosters, and Eels only once this season is as fortunate as it gets.

No NRL era team has won from outside the top 4. Yeah we have to play Cows, Manly and Dragons so I don't think we make it without beating any top 8 teams. It was a pretty silly comment meant for fun.

I'll give Griffin some credit when one of two things happens

1. We start showing some genuine structure in attack, and actually run some set plays.

2. We play some genuine games of 80 min football. I'd say we've played one all season (smashing of the dogs) with beating the warriors in NZ the next closest.

I know im one of the more negative people on here but credit for limping into the 8 with this squad in a VERY weak year?

I'd give credit to him for the side fighting back from 2-7 to a winning record(let's be honest that's pretty good).But this team should never have lost more than two games in a row, at best.We should be able to to wrap up finals against the Tigers, if not already have done so.Not still be 3/4 wins away.

We havent made it yet... and we are only in with a chance because the bottom sides of the top 8 have turned to shit.

Even then... Making up the numbers in the top 8 is not a successful season. Anything short of improving on last season is a failure. If we fail to make week 2 of finals we have gone backwards.
