firstly , when a forward of the quality of ali lauititi is available you at least sit down with him and have a chat . no our management deemed him as a player who would cost too much , and an offer was not even a consideration .

I suppose having a player in your side who has been rated the best forward in the game would be a risk.

Well your correct in that management should at least make an offer. I know a prominant player manager reasonably well and the golden rule is always listen to an offer. (the downside is whenever i mention about the Tigers for 1 of his clients he bursts out laughing). Having said that though, i like what max said earlier, i would be spitting chips if the Tigers tried to match a 400k offer for Tahu. There will be (and is if you consider Price) better things to spend that sort of money on.

The chit you should be talking about is the chit that our side has dished out to their beloved fans . Two huge losses to two top sides , And two pathetic losses to two pathetic sides .

We need a ball playing second rower , a big enforcer front rower , and a line breaking centre , ALL WITH MONGREL , but Steven if you are happy with what the weststigers are dishing up , well goodonya .

For a start Scott Prince did well to even play today.Its wasnt a great game by any standard but you cannot doubt his commitment.Im with Simon on this.If we win a game its all rosy and we have a top 8 side,As soon as we lose a few the heads should roll and we're the worst team in the comp.

I am by no means defending the performance of the side today because it wasnt good enough.But wholesale changes is not the answer.

Mate, we have lost 4 in a row and have gone from top 8 contenders to also rans....

Based on that form I believe we are the worst team in the comp at the moment.

Also, over the 5 year history of the club we have been nothing but a failure, and unless the juniors we have in the team really develop, I cannot see anything changing...

mate i'm 1 of those, that haven't thought we deserve to be in the 8, that we have been pretenders rather than contenders, but everyone has and is entitled to their opinion. people see things differently.

And happy , if you are HAPPY with Scotty Princes performances , than i am sorry but i dont think you have seen him play.
His defence is not up to a first graders standard , yes he may have played origin , but it was where the blues attack was aimed at .

He simply is not strong enough to make a one on one tackle.

5 misses again today , and at times this season he has been carried over the line for the try

Its no coincedence that the best coach ever to coach a football team had him playing for the Clydesdales

The team is capable of alot better.That was seen in our early season form.We are probably the worst team form wise at the moment.But management isnt to blame for it.The players are the ones who need to do the lifting.

I agree Prince is not the strongest defender around.To often he is made to look ordinary.But its something that can be worked on.They say it takes 18 months to fully recover from a broken leg or knee reconstruction.Scott Prince has has 2 in 2 yrs.Give the guy break.He wasnt 100% fit and ive seen enough from him to see him as a valuable part of our team.

I had no problem with their opinions, didnt agree with them though. However, what I rejected was being called negative for calling it as I see it. I am very positive about the tigers however this year very little has given me any call to be positive. My comment was merely a response to the claim that we are just being critical after a loss when in fact a lot have been critical all year

Agreed unit! After our win against the warriors it was all praise, and what 4 matches later we're a club in "crisis" it seems. it seems the form of the first 12 rounds or so has been forgotten for what we've shown in the next 4, what a shame.
