Our new right centre

I almost fell off the lounge when Ayshford cruised over without challenge in the right corner. I haven't seen our right centre draw the winger on the line since 2006. It's amazing what having a player with a bit of size or a shimmy woosh can do. Would it be possible to clone Utai? Or get Reddy in now?

I agree, I had to look twice to believe we had looked so sharp on the right hand side of the field. I don`t mind the way Ayshford has been playing of late, but I still think he`d be much more effective in the second row.

Maybe it was more that Ayshford was actualy THERE to take the offload unlike other wingers we have had through the years.

good point, I just cant wait for the day that our right edge is a real option in attack and with Grant,Reddy and maybe a couple others in the mix we might be in for a good 2012

Was interesting that all 3 tries were scored on the right. We attacked the left early with no success. That combo must be still rusty as when fit and firing it's close to the best in the comp.

Roosters also defended that edge exceptionally well, continually made right decision in defence. Obviously worked on that as it is no secret our left is our most potent side.
