I do like the young guys coming through and still more to come, now if he can do what Flanno did becore we won the comp, make that astute purchase player unwanted elsewhere but improves big time at sharks, i would say Matt Prior prime example

Took a couple of years for Prior but man what a signing he ended up being!

I get the impression that Bomber is of the mind to keep and develop juniors rather than going to market, and with our squad (and what's out there) I hope he sticks to a succession strategy... there's some guys in there who will be solid back-ups going forward and some unpredictable ones. Moylan on the books gives Kennedy a couple years to show something, and I feel he's doing about as well as Val did in his first year without the benefit of starting on the wing. We have a solid squad that's getting used to each other. I'd keep it together at least next season, retain what we can and then decide on the million dollar men during next season.

i feel like the squad isn't missing a whole lot in 2021 other than depth, and we're gaining starters + depth by developing Kennedy, Wilton, Hunt, Rudolph.. if we can manage long-term deals for those guys and the Ramien, Katoa, Mulitalo, Hamlin-Uele, Brails, Nikora, etc core there's a bunch of people who know each other's games and can form the identity of the club once the retirements departures of Dugan, Fifita, Moylan, Johnson, Graham after 2021-2024.

Yes, but it may be forced. Build the team on the smell of an oily rag then when you can bring in a gun for a serious tilt.

Same old cycle really

Having Moyza is a bit of a problem. He is our first choice FB so essentially we cant get another top flight FB.

Maybe someone who can play FB half the time but is also a utility and play bench/hooker. AJ Brimson or one of the storm flogs? Or realistically someone like Tyrone Roberts?

Shoulda had a run at Corey Thompson. Can play anywhere. And do it well. Oh well.

OMG how good is Talakai!

He is one of my most favourite players to watch in the team atm.

He is a freakin tank!

I know we have resigned him until the end of 2021 but hoping we can keep on the books beyond that and not let another Club steal him from us.

Good call from the showing last night. Saw some good things from the young blokes and best I've seen from Bubba to date. Use this season to let them gainmore experience and if we keep up a good team vibe, they will find it hard to go elsewhere.
