The point is rather clear I would have thought. Any of our players could win a grand final. We are building a decent team, we're probably only a fullback off being a pretty solid squad next season. The sky is going to stay exactly where it is.

This discussion is about how many of our players could be successful in a Grand Final team. Not that hard to understand champ. Yes probably any of our players could be in a Grand Final winning team, if the rest of the team was made up of much better players, not what we currently have. The players I listed at the start of this thread are the players I would be confident could play well in a Grand Final in those positions.
And if you think Scott and Foran will make us a Grand Final chance next year geez your putting a lot of faith in two players. Sorry groover but we need a lot more than those two.
I have little confidence in a halves combination of Foran and Norman. We need a fullback, a centre, a winger, a prop and a good attacking half to partner Foran.

Fullback and centre are priorities. If they can't get that done then they aren't doing their jobs, particularly when we have been needing a fullback all this year as well

I don't. its simply an indication of poor recruitment, poor player talent identification and poor future planning for so many years at Parramatta.
We have a culture of not being winners at Parramatta. Teams like Melbourne, Canterbury, Brisbane, Roosters and manly are consistantly top eight clubs because they won't settle for close enough. They are run and organised as winners.
When did we last win a Grand Final? 29 years ago. Keep defending it all you like champ, its a shocking record.

If that's what you believe his post meant, then there is no point discussing this with you to be perfectly honest because simple concepts obviously elude you. It was a side of the "best of the best" all time plodders to win a grand final....fairly clear, I would have thought.

We need a fullback. But we can win games without one. Otherwise our side next year is light years ahead of the side we have now. We have a quality centre (Hoppa), the best winger in the game IMO in Semi (although he had a rare shocker yesterday, admittedly), more props than we need (you forget, it seems, that Junior Paulo is missing from this side)....a better centre than Taka defensively would be very handy but in attack he's hardly the problem.

Your right Bazza, we don't agree so you may as well leave this thread. As for our prop rotation, I'd only have Wicks as a starting prop, Mannah and Junior as our bench. That leave a spot for a starting prop. Learn to read and understand baz.
