Peter Wallace aint no Steve Carter...sorry but thats cold hard fact.

He'll be handy until Dean Caldwell finally realises his potential, or Jarrod Sammut bulks up..or Joseph Paulo maybe plays there...but his future is at lock. I think Wallace is good, but he isn't the answer to the five-eight problem.

That's not what you were saying elsewhere...

Caged, I admit I am not an unabashed Peter Wallace fan.

I am happy for sharks supporters to think he is a world beater.

Personally, I think it is only a matter of time before Firman takes the reigns.

I have no ill will to Peter Wallace I just dont think he is of first grade standard. I sincerely hope everyone is right and I am wrong. I will only be to happy for him to make the position his own.

not worried about Selmes

De Gois on the bench now i'm worried about his impact he'll have on the game.

Kearney at Fullback i'm not overly concerned but I would have preferred David Simmons.

How'd Nathan Smith go?

The only game i've seen Wallace he looked like a future star. Awesome passing game, but than again i've only sene him once.

I thought both Smith and Wallace went OK.Let's face it,it wasn't a great team performance though I think they all put in.Hard to shine when things aren't working for a team,.

IMO we don't need to make that many changes to our team. But we do need to have a backline without Youngquest in it. We have a few options, my top 3 are below, in the order i'd pick this weekend.

1. Rhys Wesser
2. Michael Gordon / Michael Gordon / Geoff Daniella
3. Nathan Smith / Michael Jennings / Michael Gordon
4. Luke Lewis / Luke Lewis / Luke Lewis
5. Luke Rooney / Luke Rooney / / Luke Rooney
6. Peter Wallace / Brett Firman
7. Craig Gower
8. Joel Clinton
9. Luke Priddis
10. Matthew Cross
11. Trent Waterhouse
12. Tony Puletua
13. Frank Pritchard/Paul Aiton

Bench:
Frank Puletua
Junior Moors
Matthew Bell
Paul Aiton/Frank Pritchard (whoever isn't lock)

Brendan Worth blew his chance IMO, Nick Youngquest just didn't fit into our backline. Nathan Smith was fair enough, but not off the bench. Start him or drop him.
