Over rates

Been a real bug bare in recent times that failure to be able to bowl 30 overs in a session of play during test matches. Do it take a captain to finally get suspended for it to finally get up to scratch as has been in the test in Adelaide.

Also not just in terms of player but for spectators you fell like your getting short changed. It's not just in test matches either.

I went to the 6th ODI in the series against England last summer and it went well and truly over the schedualed finish time of 10:30pm. I ended up having to leave early and missed the end of it because I had to be back at my hotel by 11pm or I'd get locked out of my room.

I know it might be a case yeah that's your problem but even so. Whatever happened to them being fined and docked overs from their run chase?

Cut out the bullshit where the 12th man runs out every over with a pair of gloves, a piece of chewing gum, a drink or a love note and you'll go a long way to increasing over rates.

And fix the sight screen situation - make them bigger and stop people sitting within 5 metres of them and f**k the advertising off. I'd say you lose 15 minutes a day at least with sight screen issues.

Yeah bring back those big ones like they use to have at the Adeliade Oval. You know the one that could double as a second screen at the Drive In.

MS Dhoni gets suspended for persistent slow overs and the messiah is asking what happened :?

The second innings of an ODI is regularly slower than the first.

Less than 30 overs in the third session do be happy Ian

This test has been more like it and I noticed too in the Test over in Napier they managed to get the 90 overs in a days play.

They went past 5:30 to do that though. They were definitely not going at 15 overs per hour.
